Room 403: August 10, 2024

Since we’re staying in a beautiful room in the recently acquired “Pink House,” we really weren’t on the lookout for ghosts (other than just to tease each other)! I guess we should have been…I had a hard time staying asleep last night, but had finally drifted away when I was startled awake by the bed being shoved! It literally felt like someone standing at the foot of the bed had pushd the bed back hard, but only moved the mattress. The rest of the bed was jarred, but didn’t move. I laid in the dark until I couldn’t stand it and tiptoed to the dresser for some Advil for my shaky nerves. Just when I grabbed the bottle, my phone, which was 3-4 feet away charging on the bedside table between the chairs, lit up as if someone had tapped the screen! The time read 4:39am. I hurried back to bed and slept as best I could for the rest of the night with my hand never leaving my boyfriend’s back. I jokingly had wanted something to happen, but not anymore. Be careful what you wish for!
