Room 204: May 12, 2023

Savannah is such a beautiful city! This was our first time visiting and we had had to stay in Anna’s room. Not a lot to report during the daytime, but my husband and I both had a few small experiences. The first night we were so tired from traveling but he said he heard a woman’s voice near the night stand during the night. He said it sounded like a “shhh.” That first night I had a vivid dream I was sleeping exactly were I was in the bed and I felt someone get under the covers next to me on my right side and all I could think in my dream is that was Anna. I woke up immediately but was not scared. Knowing it was a dream, I was so tired I fell back asleep pretty fast. Was it a dream though? I often have vivid dreams and think those ones are not dreams but they are actually taking place in another realm. Just something to think about… The next day we were gone all day, did a historical tour and a night time ghost tour. Nothing in our room ever moved out of place. That night, I heard a single knock on the headboard and it woke me up. I also heard a woman’s voice around the nightstand on my side but I don’t know what it said. I just remember waking up and asking out loud, “Is that you, Anna?” I also had another vivid dream of a girl laying on this bed in this room who was dead and she had blue eyes, short black hair, and very gray skin. She was telling me a man had killed her. In my dream, she was not Anna, just to be clear. Again, only a vivid dream. We did leave Anna a gift to thank her for letting us stay in her room. Maybe next time we will see her.
