Room 203: February 13, 2007

Our stay in Savannah and at the 17hundred90 was excellent. Arrived in historic district yesterday morning and after walking around decided to check in. We walked to our room and was pleasantly surprised. I decided to relax on the daybed and read for a few minutes. I felt something poke me in my lower back threw through the pillow. Verified there was nothing under me but sheets and pillows. Strange… a little while later J was in the bathroom and the lights began to flicker and abruptly stopped. Decided to brush it off and go to dinner. What a great idea! We went to Elizabeth’s on 37^th, I’ve been there before years ago but J hadn’t. Did not fail to amaze. Food was excellent, service was the best I’ve ever experienced. Went on a candle lit walking tour after dinner which was amazing. Cobblestone tours – we highly recommend it! Hit a few bars then came home. Anna let me get sleep but kept J up all night. She was poked and she tried to take her necklace off. She woke me up to tell me what was going on. It freaked me out a little and when she went back to sleep I was up alone. I heard someone walk past the window (there was no one upstairs but us), then saw a figure (shadow) in the bathroom doorway to my left. Bathroom light just turned off then back on again about 30 seconds ago. We both heard the handle on the drawer jiggle as if someone was trying to open it. No missing jewelry or panties though. Overall our stay was good. Very polite staff and great food!
