We had been wanting to visit 17Hundred90 for months. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner downstairs and settled into Room 204 for a quiet evening. Before going to bed, my husband crossed the doll’s legs where they sit on the mantle. I woke up at 2:30am to go to the bathroom. Although I didn’t see anything, I heard a distinct voice say, “Why?” My husband was asleep and snored lightly. In the morning the doll’s legs were no longer crossed. Spooky for sure.
