I have known of this Inn and the Anna story for over 20 years and have always wanted to stay here. This is my birthday weekend. I arrived in Savannah yesterday with a friend who could only stay one night and would not stay here. So I am here tonight. As the bellman brought me up, Anna apparently unlocked the door for me, according to the bellman, I do know we did not need the key! As I sat here reading before bed, she would occasionally tap on the mantle with something. At one point, she was kind of poking my arm with a light tickle. I kept thinking a little bug or something was on it but there was nothing visible. During the night, Anna did not pester. She must have known I was really tired. LOL! Comfortable bed for sure.
