Room 301: October 19, 2024

We’ve had a lovely stay in Savannah. THis house has been extremely comfortable and we’ve had a pleasant, restful visit in this beautiful city. A couple of strange events occurred during our stay. OUr first night in, my husband and I were settling in for the night in this room.  Our daughters, who were occupying the second floor, were out at a cocktail mixing event at the Prohibition Museum, and the third floor was vacant. My husband and I listened to footsteps walking above our heads off and on for about fifteen minutes. It was definitely in the girl’s room, not next door. At six the next morning, an alarm started beeping. My husband went out in the hall to look for it. One of our daughters went out to look upstairs. Neither could find the source. It happened twice more as soon as my husband lay down. Didn’t happen again. Have a great stay!
