Room 203: August 31, 2008

We are Savannah natives playing “tourist”! Growing up we heard all the haunted stories of Savannah and folks most of them are very true. The story of Anna is one of the true ones. We went to bed, as I sure a lot of guests here do, hoping, wishing, thinking?! Maybe we would be able to experience some of our history. Well… we were NOT disappointed!! Around 3:15 I wake up to go to the restroom. I returned to bed and drifted back to sleep. My husband had moved to the day bed by this time. I was woken up by someone stroking my hair. I thought I was dreaming but woke again at about 4:30 from the same sensation! Our hearts go out to Anna, what a miserable life she must have had to die so young. Other than this it was great staying and experiencing our very own history.
