Room 204: July 2, 2023

We did not know there were going to be dolls!!! When we first arrived my husband took pictures of the room to show his friend that is scared of places like this. We came in later that night after dinner and I noticed the tall doll on the mantle changed position slightly. Beau not believing looked at his pictures. Yep she moved. Later that night around 2:30am, I was fast asleep and he was awake and he heard my bracelets move on the nightstand. We tried to talk to Anna but she was not interested. Everyday we took showers and there were small messages on the mirror. Very simple “Hi” and “A.” We enjoyed our stay. Be careful of the day bed, the footboard fell on my foot. I don’t think it was spirit related at all but thought should be aware- it hurts when it hits. The tastiest spirits were mady by Scott in the Tavern downstairs called Hippie Juice. The chef does a beautiful job preparing your meal and Jefferson is by far the friendliest waiter in history. Thank you Anna for a wonderful stay! I must say this staff at 1790 is exceptional all the way around. Grumpy is a treasure!
