Hello Patrick and staff, our first time visit to Savannah. Kudos to keeping up with…
Room 205: April 11, 2012
Me and my sister C came to your inn on our way to Parris Island. Her son is graduating from the Marines. We had a wonderful time in Savannah yesterday. We ate at the Dockside bar and shopped. Everyone here at the Inn were wicked nice and we were surprised that the Inn had a reputation of being haunted. Against my better judgement, I asked Mary about the local story. Well, I didn’t sleep too well, at certain times of the night, I had nightmares of the bride. And smelled a musty smell around 2am and heard a door open around 3am. Other than the ghost story, the inn is absolutely charming and everything I pictured for southern charm and hospitality. The staff made us feel welcome. I can’t wait to book my next trip, longer this time back to Savannah. Next time, we visit, I would like to do the Inn tour.
So we are getting ready to leave Savannah this morning and are very happy with our stay at the 1790 inn. I will be telling all of my friends and family back home that we stayed in our first “haunted” inn. I hope the spirit of the bride can find some peace and the future guests of the inn will have more sleep filled nights. Thank you again!
